Meet Brad – Neuroblastoma Warrior

"I just want to say thanks to your organization," said Zach (Brad's dad). "The doctors at Sloan were Brad's only chance at surviving this whole ordeal. Your organization made a huge difference in his life whether you know it or not."

Brad was just 3 1/2 years old when his family learned of his devastating diagnosis – the cute, rambunctious little boy was suffering from Neuroblastoma. After relapsing a few years later, doctors told his parents his only hope for survival was treatment offered at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York. For this Idaho family, flying across the country every six weeks or more was a daunting proposition.

The NCCS helped Brad’s family with travel expenses to ensure he received the treatment he needed to survive. According to Brad’s dad, Zach, “We are doing really well.” Brad is now a 10-year-old heading to middle school, loves spending time with his brother and enjoys going camping.

“I just want to say thanks to your organization,” said Zach. “The doctors at Sloan were Brad’s only chance at surviving this whole ordeal. Your organization made a huge difference in his life whether you know it or not.”
