About Abigail

At just 2 years old, Abigail was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Her dad, Jesus, recalls the moment that shattered their world: “As a parent, news like this shakes you and shatters your life, heart and soul. I was in disbelief for weeks, still, days go by when I wake up hoping it was just a bad, bad nightmare.”

Abigail’s treatments have been grueling; painful rashes, long hospital stays, and unrelenting side effects.

Yet Abigail continues to shine. Despite her suffering, she looks at her dad and says, “Don’t worry, Daddy, it’s okay.” Those words give her family the strength to keep moving forward.

With help from generous donors like you, The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) provided travel assistance and emergency funds, ensuring Abigail made it to lifesaving treatment and her family could keep going through this overwhelming time.

You can give hope to families like Abigail’s today.
