Scholarship Application Is Open

The National Children’s Cancer Society is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program. Completed applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2022.

The Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program will once again award 58 college scholarships to childhood cancer survivors.

  • Scholarships applicants must be under the age of 25 and diagnosed with cancer before the age of 18.
  • Students must be a United States citizen, live and attend school in the U.S. and must be accepted into a post-secondary school for the 2022 fall semester.
  • Through the program each awardee participates in community service programs and activities on behalf of the NCCS.

Elias Coulas has been a scholarship recipient for the past four years. He was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia at 4 years old and is currently 22 studying to be an oncology pharmacist. Elias reflects on his experience, “The Beyond the Cure Scholarship Program has helped me cover the financial costs of my undergraduate education and will now help me to pay for pharmacy school. Not only has the National Children’s Cancer Society assisted me financially, but it has also allowed me to connect with other survivors to share stories and life experiences.”
