The event will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the historic St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. Guests will enjoy an evening of storytelling and philanthropy featuring legendary St. Louis Blues alumni Kelly Chase, Curtis Joseph, and Tony Twist. 5 On Your Side’s Frank Cusumano will once again serve as the evening’s emcee.
Following the success of the event in May 2025, “An Evening with the Blues” returns as one of the NCCS’ premier fundraising experiences, offering guests the opportunity to hear firsthand stories from hockey legends while supporting families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.
The evening will feature a seated dinner, full open bar, exciting silent and live auctions with exclusive memorabilia and unique experiences, and unique raffles. All proceeds from the event directly support children with cancer and their families through the NCCS’s programs that provide transportation assistance, emergency financial aid, educational resources, and emotional support.
“The feedback from last year’s event was incredible,” said Mark Stolze, President and CEO of The National Children’s Cancer Society. “We are honored to welcome these Blues legends and our incredible supporters for an evening that celebrates hockey while making a meaningful difference for families facing childhood cancer.”
A special highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to honor a family served by NCCS, sharing their courageous journey through childhood cancer and reminding guests of the profound impact their support makes.
Building on a long tradition of successful sports-themed fundraising events, the NCCS has previously welcomed iconic athletes and coaches whose generosity has helped raise more than $3 million to support children battling cancer and their families.
